Uge 61 – Forflyttese!

Familie!!!!

Well, the week :) Good ol Esbjerg! It’s just such a funny place! I just laugh all the time! You know all those really funny, random stories that people have from their missions? Well, Esbjerg is the place to get them!!

Not gonna lie though, I can’t seem to remember a whole lot seeing as how I got this super nasty cold (one that Kristina and Freja had, as well as the flu) and so most of the week we were running (because you know, it’s the week before transfers and of course it’s just insane), and so most of the week I was functional enough to go to appointments, but not much more than that. And it was rather funny because for the last 5 days or so I have sounded like a 13 yr old boy….super squeaky! So that has provided some realllllllly good entertainment!! I’m doing a bit better now, I finally just crashed saturday afternoon and just slept from about 3 until 9 and the elders came over and gave me a blessing (which, can I just say, I love the priesthood!! It’s truly the most wonderful thing in the world!!) And I was a bit more funtional yesterday, and today I’m doing better! I don’t sound quite so horrible, although I’ve got a pretty nasty cough. But I can breathe! So that is a beautiful thing!!

So, from what I can remember from the week.

Transfers. Well, they happened! We are back in Esbjerg and are just running as usual. We are going to go to the bishops tonight and have a little fhe with them and maybe get some laundry done tonight….that’s the plan anyways. My new companion is Søster Peterson. She was in the group before me in the mtc, but was with us for a little bit because she got sick and had to wait a little bit extra to leave the mtc. She has served on Sjælland the whole time, so it’s going to be really fun to see her try and understand lots of things over in Sønderjylland :D I’m excited!

Oh yeah, and the blessing. Oh heavens. Well, I just love the priesthood. I had asked the elders to give me a healing blessing because my cold was just getting worse and worse and worse and I honestly could not even process thoughts….at all. It was rough. So, the first things out of Elder Jensens mouth were ‘I give you a blessing of comfort’. Ha. I think Heavenly Father just wanted to tell me a few things.

It was just such a wonderful experience. I am amazed continually by how much He knows me, and how much He loves me and wants me to be better. And how much He believes in me. And He tells me those things in ways that can’t be mistaken. And so often, when there is something He wants me to know, He makes me sick, so sick that I need a blessing, and then is just like here, let me just explain things to you. Ha. I kinda wish I would just get the point and get the blessing before I got sick, but….well….maybe I’ll learn how to do that sometime in the future. Cause I have a feeling it’s not going to be today! And it was cool because as I was laying in bed saturday night after the blessing I could literally just feel the sickness leaving my body. AH! What a blessing!! Now it’s just leftover cough and stuff. But I’ll definitely take that over what it was!

I’m sure there were other important things, like ya know, with Kristina, and less actives and recent converts and the ward……but I can’t exactly remember a whole lot. Oh yeah, I smashed my left hand between two rocks on saturday. And then on sunday I sliced my finger open with a knife cutting into some lettuce. My poor left hand :( It’s had a rough few days!

But I am excited to see how this week goes! It’ll be really good!! Oh yeah, and Bishops family invited this family down the street to church, and it looks like they’re going to come on sunday! And they’re all SUPER excited about it!! And so am I!! It’ll be so great!!! I love how the Lord works :) Sometimes we just gotta get it and get stuff going and then turn around and stand and watch His mirakels. And I love doing that :)

Hopefully this week goes better in the whole remembering department….ha. We’ll see what happens :D

Love you!!!

Have a wonderful week!!!

Mange kærlighed,
Søster Rigby
