Uge 49 – Esbjerg!!! – 03/10/14

Well, I guess the biggest and most exciting thing that has happened….transfer calls! I am now in Esbjerg! It is this little sea port town on the southwestern side of Jylland. I got here about 3 hours ago actually. So far it doesn’t smell too much like fish….but I can only imagine what is coming! And it is just a wonderfully beautiful day outside! It’s not raining! And that’s a weird moment for Danmark. I guess well start the week now…we made 2 trips to Århus this week! One of them was an overnighter….I just love early trains. But! We had zonekonference which was just absolutely amazing! we are starting to work with Family History a whole lot more and that is just really exciting! I love it so much! Danes really love their families, so that’s a wonderful thing to be able to talk to people about :) The second trip was for stavkonference. And that was just SO good! It is just absolutely amazing to me to see just how much someone, who is called of God, set apart and ordained to be His servant really is just different. People talk about it a lot, and say that a lot. But it’s just not something I had ever really seen, or known. And I was able to see that on saturday! It was just sooo cool! I am so grateful for the Spirit :) there is just something to someone who has that calling. I am so grateful that I have gotten the wonderful opportunity to be a part of something that is SO much larger than me! And to be able to associate with so many that do have that calling – I am just spoiled!

We also met with the Hansens again :) I love them! Everything is good to go with the baptism on Sunday :D SO EXCITED FOR THAT!!! I just LOVE this family! They’re amazing!!

We also got to have Bendy make dinner for us :) and all the missionaries in our distrikt and a couple of members. It was really fun :)

And ya know, I just love Odense :) It is just an incredible place! There is so much there to learn and understand and grow from. I am so grateful for the opportunity that I had to serve there, and to serve for as long as I did! I am just one very spoiled girl! That is one place that I will NEVER forget! Odense will always be a part of my heart and so will those people. They have truly changed my life forever! But what I am the most grateful for is how much I was able to learn and grow and feel the Spirit. My testimony has grown so much and I am so grateful for the people that have been a part of all of these experiences that I will treasure forever!

And now I am on to Esbjerg :) Another place that I know I will love and adore! Although it rains a lot here…..hmmmm. I just love being a missionary :D It really is the best and most amazing experience of my life! I am SO grateful for it! I love how much I get to come closer to my Savior, and how much I get to help others to do the same! There truly is nothing greater in this life.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

Mange Kærlighed,
