Uge 58 – Mors Dag!!

Mothers Day!! Best day ever (besides Christmas of course :D)

She is an amazing girl and I cannot wait for her to experience the wonderful blessings of being a member!

We were able to teach Kristina on Saturday with Lasse and Stuart – this guy from Peru that she met in Sweden (he is a member, but only speaks spanish…talk about the gift of tongues!) And so we talked some, but read out of the scriptures some, partly becasue that way Stuart could participate as well, partly because that’s the best way to teach! And she just ate it up! It was so amazing to see her just light up when we would talk about things! It just made complete sense to her! And it was cool, because we hardly said anything, just introduced the scripture – this is what it’s talking about, ok lets read. And she would read it out lound, and then read it again, and then tell us what it said, and what she thought and then make connections to other things that we had previously talked about or that she could remember, or things that she just felt were right all her life. AHH!! It was just amazing :D I love how the Spirit works and brings things back to memory! She was SO excited!! It all just made sense! And you could see the relief on her face knowning that she wasn’t crazy, at all, and that what we were telling her just made sense. Amazing :D
Well, later on that day we were with her at Helga and Jubas and she starts telling them all about the plan of salvation and how much she loves it and how t just makes everything make sense! Oh. Amazing!! I just love this girl :) I’m sooo excited for her!

And Lasse had another friend in church yesterday :D no appointments with her just yet, but she does have a Book of Mormon, and she wants to start reading it!! Things are happening here :) I love it :D

And Ana Marie and Min are doing really well! We went out to visit them last friday and found out her mom had passed away. She was sad about that, but she was doing ok. We did a little family home evening with them – brought cookies, have started teaching them Jeg er Guds kære barn, and talked about the fact that we are all Gods children and then we played Uno. Got Ana Marie laughing and the kids talking to us and oh! They are all really excited for us to come back this week and play with them and sing with them :D soo exciting!

Something I am continually amazed with is Heavenly Father – this is truly His work. And it is moving forward! That I know with out a doubt! It is truly the most amazing thing to be here, as a missionary, on His errand. I know that this is His work and that the second harvest here in Denmark is happening! I know that! This mission has changed so much since I have been here, and I have been privilged enough to see some absolutely wonderful people accept the gospel for the first time in their lives! And many others realize how important it really is to them, and come back. And for that I am grateful! I just love this gospel so much! And I love this work. I love knowing that I can help people know who Heavenly Father is, know who Jesus Christ is and know that They have plan! There is meaning in this life and they have purpose! It is truly the most incredible thing in the world. I am so grateful to be able to be one of the Lord’s missionaries :D

Miracles do happen! That I know for sure!!

Have a wonderful week!!

I’m gonna go teach people now :D And make my way to Copenhagen on wednesday for a super secret mystery meeting….and go to the tempel!! I miss that place!!

Jeg elsker jer!!

Mange kærlighed,

Søster Rigby
